Siddaiah Thirupati July 15, 2015

Earning from affiliate marketing is not a simple process as it looks, we need to do a lot of hard work to earn money from it, whenever we see bloggers income report 80% of income comes from affiliate sales.

Adsense income only compensates our expenses to maintain our blog like web hosting charges and other expenses we spend to run our blog smoothly if we really want to depend on blogging income then we have to become successful in affiliate marketing to suffice our monthly needs to quit our full-time job and to start full-time professional blogging career.

Online earnings from affiliate sales will not start flowing overnight, it takes a lot of time based on our efforts we are putting on our blog growth, present generation of new bloggers expects money flows very fast, but most of the times money flowing will not happen very fast.

Because of this reason so many new bloggers are quitting their blogging career within six months or one year, if we want to live on blogging income then we should have patience and proper strategy to become successful, we should consider our blogging career as a business and we should fix long-term goals to become successful.

Every human being is different in nature, we have our own strengths and weakness, never feel jealous when you see some younger bloggers are making much more money than you, if he is earning more money than you, that means he is putting a lot more time and energy in his blog’s growth and of course he is little bit luckier than you.

Today I am going to share some advanced strategies which will be useful to become successful in affiliate marketing if we continuously practice these strategies in near future we will earn money from affiliate sales.

Affiliate Marketing Advanced Strategies

Select A Profitable Niche

Most of us started blogging career without knowing any practical things which are involved in blogging career, once we get into the field, we will come to know the practical problems which are involved to become successful.

In fact when I started this blog, I don’t know anything about keywords, niche, on page SEO, backlinks, Google Penalities, and etc, slowly I came to know about one by one.

Before starting a blog do some research about your interested niches, find out which will allow you to earn some decent money, stick to that stream, if you have already started then no problem, crosscheck whether this niche will allow to earn money or not.

Make A list of Affiliate Products Related To Your Niche

Once you finalised your niche, start researching about the products which are related to that niche, don’t go for cheap and non-reliable products just because they are offering huge commissions.

You can even research on popular blogs related to your niche, list out which products are giving them huge money, try to cover product mix basket related to that niche

Make a list of 25 products which are offering affiliate income, sort out the list based on the competition, keep less competitive products on the first row, once you complete the process, take a printout of your list.

Set A Goal To Publish Content

Now we have a list of products we want to promote for affiliate marketing, for each product we should have minimum 3 to 4 long tail keywords to write articles about them, once you prepare keywords list about 25 products, now we are ready to go ahead and publish content on our blog.

Setting a goal to publish content on those keywords with the help of an editorial calendar will improve our productivity without any distractions on publishing dates, don’t plan continuous affiliate product articles, people will think that you are money driven person.

Publishing mix of normal helpful content and targeted affiliate product articles will help us to become successful.

Create An Extraordinary content

There are two ways to get traffic to our blog, one is paid promotion in social media like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and the second one is getting organic traffic from search results.

Paid promotion is expensive and we don’t get targeted audiences through it if we want to get targeted audiences then we have to optimize our content for search engines because it is the place where our targeted audience are looking for information.

Reaching first page of Google has to be our primary goal, create an extraordinary content which search engines would love to rank, then we can easily get traffic to our content, once we get the traffic conversions happen automatically happen based on our quality of the content.

Use Coupons & Discounts

Coupons and discounts will encourage people to buy the useful product, always try to add a coupon codes or mention discount information in the article.

We can not add coupons for every product but wherever there is a chance of adding coupon codes try to use it effectively to get conversions.

Coupons will also improve our brand trust once the person buys a product through our coupon code with less price then he always comes back to our site whenever he is buying another product to check whether he get any coupon for that product.

Hang Around At Your Targeted Audiences Premises

We have to find out the places where our targeted audiences are roaming around for the information, Q&A sites like Quora, and Yahoo answers are the best places to get targeted audiences, continuously check for the audiences who are asking for the information related to your affiliate articles once you find the questions, try to answer the question in full description and add your URL at the end of the answer.

Forum websites are another great way to find targeted audiences, here we have to participate in active threads to reach more audience, find out the members doubts and try to solve their problems with your expertise and add your related URL at the end of the answer.

We have to be active at these places to establish trust, people will come to your blog when they see active participation in those forums, and Q&A sites, here chances of sales conversion is very high, but it takes some time to see the fruitful results.

Offer Personal Services

All the products are not self-explained, every buyer wants some support to implement, use or execute the software on their blog, if somebody provides the videos and articles on how to use this product then they will get confidence to buy the product.

If you make them comfortable by providing you own services to them in implementing then chances getting conversion is very high.

For example, if you are promoting a web hosting product then you can provide or assist your services in installing the WordPress software and customizing and selecting a theme for their blog.

Create A Promotional Strategy

We need to have a proper promotional strategy for our affiliate articles, making a plan and setting a goal which is time bounded for our strategy is compulsory to evaluate our progress.

Stick to the promotional strategy, evaluate which medium is helping you to become successful, concentrate more on that platform, make changes to your promotional strategy according to the results.

If you are affordable try to use paid promotion on social media platforms.

Have Patience

All these strategies will not give us instant results, we need wait to see the results, sometimes it takes months if we are lucky we may see results very fast.
